Just another pro for an expansion to the playoffs. Football is a game of adjustments, learning, and getting better. The best team is not always the one that wins the title. 

I'd say the best team wins the title even more rarely in March Madness if that's your criteria.

I wouldn't put a percentage on it, or say it's more rare, but yes, same logic in my opinion.
