ok our only win was vs the browns in Jacksonville this year so far. We came back last week @ bengals, and made a game of it. Now last night the same browns that we beat destroyed the same bengals who beat us. What is wrong with this picture?   it was also in the bengals home.  So what is wrong with this picture? I'm just asking. try this link.

Any given Sunday, Monday, Thursday, or Saturday.
Where's the picture?

First of all, you know "any given Sunday" can also be "any given Thursday."

Secondly, the Browns are more familiar with the Bengals and play at Paul Brown Stadium annually.

The Bengals scored 37 points (and almost scored 40) against the Panthers without A.J. Green. So why did they lay an egg the next week at Indianapolis? I heard Cincy's loss there was worse than the score and the Colts scored "only 27 points."

So what's wrong with that picture? Seeing it happen again - a blowout loss after a close game at home - makes me think the Bengals are a hot and cold team, not usually good or usually bad.

Something else to consider is the fact that the Browns have spent some more time with their backup center, who had only one week to prepare for us.

What!  Great, now I'm all confused...

The same rookies started against the Browns and Bengals, so that does not explain it. We also had the same offensive coordinator for both games.

Could it also be "any given Monday"? :teehee:

Obviously. The Redskins beat the Cowboys on a Monday night.
Just because one team beat another on one particular day doesn't mean that they would continue to beat the same team over and over if they played the same team 10 weeks in a row. There is an element of variability from week to week which is what makes watching any sport interesting.

What does that have to do with anything?

I'm still looking for this picture, wolfie.

Wolfie and JW running a thread.... At the same time!

I swear that's a real quote.

Redonkulous SMH :teehee:
The Bengals were unbeaten in their last 14 home games (yes,1 was a tie).

The Browns had lost 17 straight road divisional games.

The Football Gods simply said  "Enough is enough" and we saw the result on Thursday night.

I'm thinking Monty Python flick.
