New tequila-flavored beer to hit the US
Anheuser-Busch announced plans to launch a tequila-flavored beer in the U.S. next year to attract younger drinkers who like Mexican beer yet have a taste for the hard stuff.
Called Oculto, the beer will be made with blue agave, which is also used to make tequila, blended with beer aged with wood from tequila barrels,
the Wall Street Journal reports.

I don't get it. What's next? Beer flavored tequila? Vodka flavored rum?
Can't see how adding tequila flavoring would ever improve any drink.
I get nauseous just thinking about tequila

Agree. I have yet to meet someone who is fond of the taste of tequila.
You guy s just haven't had good tequila :teehee:.
Go get a bottle of this and drink it "neat." Then tell me it's not amazing.
Does the price of a bottle of that stuff cause the buyer to attest to its good taste even if it tastes like horse pee?

Haha. No, not really. It's about 50 bucks. It drinks like a brandy and is usually served in a snifter. I'm tellin' ya - it's the good stuff.
It's the farthest thing from cuervo gold you could imagine.
Though - I do prefer to keep it separate from my beer.
Didn't they already do this? Something called Desperados? I recall turning down some free samples of it in a club recently.

I'd rather drink fine tequila straight than any other liquor.
My personal favorite:
