It's true,, the Bengals are really hit hard on the injury front right now (both starting LBs, RT, starting RB, their best TE, and Marvin Jones a very good receiving threat).
That said,, Dalton's struggles in the spotlight, and terrible penalties and situational mistakes (attributed to coaching IMO) is what has been, and will continue to hold the Bengals back.
It's a shame for them,, because with the e rest of the roster,, a better QB and Coach would make them very serious contenders.
His contract is actually very team friendly
Dalton reminds me of Garrard...has talent, can make throws, a solid guy. But he's not that "next level" QB

Yep. Its funny more people don't realize this. They see the money involved with the entirety of the contract and ignore the fact that the Bengals can cut him with this off-season or next with no huge down side.

Yep. Just like the Jaguars with Beadles and Gerhart.

Really I'd say it doesn't matter what the contract is. They're not going to cut him. If they had the stones to start over at the QB position they wouldn't have given him the contract to start with.
So unless they hit on a Russell Wilson in the draft he'll be there for quite a few years keeping their team sucessful enough that they won't be able to draft his replacement.
I'd like to see Cincy put in AJ McCarron

I was on their message boards during that game and a lot of fans were calling for AJ to replace Dalton.
They are no different then any other fans whose QB is playing poorly.
