Soft Kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur

Browns held the Bengals to 163 yards and still won 24-3!  Smile  Cleveland is now 6-3, and tied with the Steelers!

Cleveland just Browned Cincinatti's Bagels.....ok terrible joke lol

But yes that win against cleveland is looking more impressive.

Quote:That's what you get for thinking. The 2 most modern nicknames for London are "The Smoke" and "The Swinging City".

I live just over an hour outside of London and 99% of my business is in London and I have never ever heard it be called either of those 2 times Smile
Quote:The Bengals are playing like this is a playoff game. Wow.

Will we see Johnny clipboard tonight?

Why couldn't they play like this against the Jaguars?

You know what, years ago somebody called them the Bagels "because they have a hole in their defense."

Well I knew for sure it wasn't known as "The Queen City" as that title belongs to Cinncinnati. I have probably a dozen or so friends and a couple of family members who live there and they just call it London no nickname.

Because this was a prime time game.

When the "lights go on" Dalton and Marvin Lewis are flat terrible.

That's why.

Most of my life I lived two hours northeast of Cincinnati. I have been there at least 10 times and never heard it being called the Queen City.
Charlotte is also known as the ' Queen City'.   The Panthers- Bengals 37-37 tie was fitting.

For over a century,  Seattle had the ' Queen City'  nickname before changing it to the ' Emerald City'.

The AFC North race has become one for the ages.  I don't ever recall an entire NFL Division finishing over .500.

Things often change quickly in the NFL but the realistic possibility exists that Johnny Manziel will end up starting his first NFL game for a team other than the Browns.

Buffalo is often referred to as the Queen City as well.

Dalton had the worst game in NFL history(attempts of 30 or more) with a 2.0 passer rating.

Hahaha. Sign a huge contract then has the worst game in NFL history. The GM must feel great about the red rifle. Gabbert couldn't even do that bad as he was last night.

I've heard San Fransisco referred to as the Queen City at times.
What's Jacksonville referred to as? Just J'Ville?

Little London.

Quote:But the Bengals "unofficially" retired #14. A big reason for that was the first Super Bowl.

There is no such thing as unofficially anything.  If it was unofficially retired, nobody would be wearing it right now, would they?  If it was that big of a deal the organization would have said no.

I think hes only guaranteed 2 years and 25m. So they have some options after year 2 if he continues to play poorly.
FWIW, Manchester, NH is also called the Queen City.
