that is odd, I looked it up they only have 11 passing TD's. pretty much split between RB's and TE's.

well at least they're winning

If ever there was a sign of a game manager, geesh.

They are dumb. Only give Kelce 50% of the snaps and he's their 2nd best player.

What badger mentioned jumps out immediately. The Chiefs have won 5 out of their last 6 games. They beat San Diego on the road when the Chargers entered the game at 5-1, with a 5 game winning streak.
At some point though, the Chiefs will need more production from their WR's. Especially, when they host the Broncos, a team that often gets several TD's from WR's in a game.
Andy Reid is quietly having another very good coaching season.

Whoa never would have guessed this. Crazy fact that they need to change soon if they want to reach the post season and do something.

AFC West standings:
Broncos 6-2
Chiefs 5-3
Chargers 5-4
Raiders 0-8
And I thought San Diego was the biggest threat to Denver's division title defense.
If Kansas City loses Sunday, will people say the win at San Diego was a fluke and the idle Chargers are still better than the Chiefs?

Fun fact: This still holds true.

Why throw for TD's when Charles can just run em in?

What's really cool is undrafted rookie Allen Hurns has 6 tds.

As long as they keep throwing TDs to Charles, as well as him rushing them in, I'm happy (fantasy)!
Charles has frequently gotten a rushing and receiving TD in the same game. He did it again yesterday against the Cardinals. YAY for my Fantasy Team!

I think it's finally caught up to the Chiefs. That Thursday Night loss in Oakland is one that the Chiefs have yet to recover from. They have no remaining margin of error.

In this case, it illustrates that the pre-season wasn't misleading.

its a playcalling issue at this point. its clear reid wants to rely on the run game and a dink and dunk offense.

The Chiefs is an example of why you strive to be better at QB than a "game manager". I'm not saying that Smith holds the team down in the way that Dalton holds the Bengals in the playoffs, but while he won't lose you games, he won't win you many either. Unless they have the 2000 Ravens' defense, don't expect the Chiefs to make the SB anytime soon with Alex Smith at QB.

I think the biggest problem the Chiefs have is their WR situation. It wouldn't surprise me if they make upgrading that position unit their # 1 priority in 2015.

Amazingly, the Chiefs went through the entire 16 game regular season w/o a WR TD.

Quote:Amazingly, the Chiefs went through the entire 16 game regular season w/o a WR TD.That is what happens with Game Managers, they can't go over the top and the WR TD's go down. Still amazing tho. Maybe they will let Dwayne Bowe go this year. I am for picking him up if they do.
