It would be a major upset if Larry Hogan can knock off Anthony Brown in this election. O'Malley and Brown have ruined a once thriving State known as Maryland.

My district was a blowout, 65-32 in favor of the Republican incumbent.

 

With 97% of precincts reporting, the Florida governor race is still too close to call.

 

With 95% of precincts reporting, the statement issues are . . .

 

1. Passing, 75-25 percent

2. Passing, 58-42 percent

3. Failing, 52-48 percent

A simple majority should be enough. That is all Ohio needs to amend its Constitution, so I thought that was true everywhere.

Republicans control the house and senate. I think that's a statement from America.

GOP has 2 years to prove it basically. They've gotten away with just block Obama for the last 6 years but NOW they've got control and the responsibility to get stuff done.


If they come out with more big government solutions, corporate bailouts, and social authoritarianism this wave will be short lived. I'm hopeful they learned something lost bush era but we shall see.

With all due respect, the corporate bailout was more of a Ben Bernake solution than necessarily a Republican one. No doubt both parties were equally lobbied by, and lied to their constituents about the influence of big business in the 2008-2009 corporate bailout, which will probably be looked at as the Glass-Steagall Act of the 21st Century. Which contrary to most history books and professors out there, actually helped prolong the depression, rather than bringing a swift end to it.

 

 

Those corporations didn't deserve to be bailed out. They dug their own holes, and they didn't deserve any assistance whatsoever in trying to climb out of it by the Government. But, that's how Washington and Wall Street go hand in hand...

 

 

Anyways, my point is that big banks like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan practically own, and dictate, all of the decisions from politicians on Capitol Hill. No matter which party is in control. You'd be shocked by how many private businesses have offices and lobbyists stationed inside of The Hill.

Hogan has won Maryland! This is the biggest shocker of the night outside of the Senate race.

Not Eric (obviously!) but... I don't think those banks owning and dictating the decisions of both parties excuses either party at all.

Biggest shocker outside of which Senate race?

My mom said, "What is wrong with people?" when I told her John Kasich was re-elected. Turns out his challenger was found at 4:30 a.m. in a vacant parking lot with a woman who was not his wife. Ohio voters had to pick Kasich after reading about that incident because when a cop asked for his driver's liscense, he did not have it. I want to know what is wrong with people who run for political offices.

I'm confused, they had to vote for what I assume is a bad politician because the other guy was with some other woman in his off time. That's like choosing a room mate and picking a meth cook because the other guy still wets his bed.

LOL Correct, John Kasich is a bad politician. But that does not seem to matter when the only other option is a criminal.

Election day results are about as expected. Americans are fed up with liberal policy.
