I'm surprised by Ole Miss though. The committee is clearly taking the previous rankings into account because how is Ole Miss that different from LSU?

LSU is playing really good at the moment....they could be taking that into account. 

 

I also think they are setting themselves up for the rest of the season.  A lot of these teams still have to play each other, and ranking them this way allows for some leeway.
