A curious move by a local station. But not surprising based on the previous follies from the local duopoly.
When the coverage map was released last week, the Fox game on Fox30 was the late game, St Louis-San Francisco. Which made sense. Why put a game on opposite the local Jaguars? Wouldn't make sense, right? I mean it would make more sense to go up against two out of market teams in Denver-NE and also give the people of Jacksonville two options in the late game.
But nope. They decided to switch the Fox game to an early game, Arizona at Dallas.
So Fox 30 would rather show a game opposite the hometown Jaguars than Manning-Brady.
Shows how much they care about the team.
