I never thought I would say this after reading comments from opponent message boards about the Jaguars being a trap game.

But it's obvious now. Several players were asked about getting ready for an international flight to London next week. Instead of saying they are just focused on Cincinnati now, they sounded like that is already on their minds. Although we are heavy undercats Sunday it would certainly help if we did not have to think about flying on England.

What is a trap game?

Trap game...for a 1-7 team...

Wow.

A game where you overlook your opponent by looking forward to the next one.

You don't think those guys want to fly to London with a win under their belts?

This. We needed an explanation as succinct as this. Thank you.

They already have one.

Well yeah, but a trap game for a team also involves an expectation of winning wherein the team is the betting line favorite.

This is a different type of trap.

What do you mean?
And here I always thought they were saying "it's a crap game" because the opponent they were playing was a crap team.

A crap game is probably what will happen in London.
