Quote:That's crazy. If the playoffs were today, the Chargers would be in and the Dolphins would be out, so San Diego should be the favorite.
The two teams are a 1/2 game apart in the standings. Tomorrow's game is a home game for Miami. It's not surprising that the Dolphins are favorite. If the game was in San Diego, the Chargers would be favorite. If the game was on a neutral site, the Chargers would probably be a very slight favorite.

Quote:Those aren't really good upsets though. All of the teams that you have are .500 and higher. I fully expect a Patriots win on Sunday and another Manning led collapse. Romo is questionable to start against the Cards; plus the Cards have a stellar defense. I don't care about the SD and Miami game.
From the vantage point of the 3 teams being underdogs, they would be upsets if they win.
Having said that, in looking at the 3 games you selected, I understand where you are coming from.
Of the games that have a greater than 7 point spread, St. Louis would be my selection as the most likely team to pull off a huge upset. Mainly because it's a divisional game. The Rams usually don't have two horrible performances in a row, hence based on that they should be more competitve than they were in the 2nd half of their loss in Kansas City this past Sunday.

I figured the rams would get the W but man that D was crazy today.

OMG did you see the Chargers/Dolphins score? 37-0 Miami!
I know West Coast teams suck on the East Coast and clocks moved back an hour today, but the Chargers should have at least looked competitive.

The loss of LDE Chris Long certainly hurt St. Louis. But the midway season sack total for the Rams is something I never would have believed before the start of the season. And this is even with rookie DT Aaron Donald having a strong rookie season.

I would hate to think how poorly the Chargers would have played if they moved the clocks ahead an hour.

The Jets failed... what a shock lol
I wanted San Diego to win, but they looked awful. What happened to Rivers and his MVP look?

Rivers typically finds a way to fade away it seems. Given they should bounce back but still...
