I don't really have a dog in this fight. Cooks is on my fantasy squad, so I'd like to see him blow up, but I don't feel any sway one way or the other between these teams.
I'm like you guys, I don't really care who wins. If I had to root for one, uh, GO SAints. Woooo!
The Panthers are a half game ahead of the Saints, who already had their bye week. It looks weird to read this game is for first place in the division because New Orleans is 3-4 and Carolina is 3-4-1. I usually think of two teams with the same even or winning record when people say that. The NFC South has no teams with a winning record going into this game. Pathetic.
I guess because Green Bay blew out Carolina and got killed big time in New Orleans, I should root for the Panthers. But I don't care about any team in the NFL's worst division.
For anyone who cares, the Panthers are 1-0 in the division, 3-2 in the conference, 2-2 at home, and on a two-game losing streak. The Saints are 1-1 in the division, 3-3 in the conference, and 0-4 on the road. They won their last game.
Who do you all think will win the game tonight?
Panthers: 24th in points, 24th in total yards, 17th in passing yards, 27th in rushing yards.
Saints: 5th in points, 2nd in total yards, 2nd in passing yards, 7th in rushing yards
But I have no idea how good or bad either defense is.
Something tells me this will be a shootout.

What he said. Come on Cooks!
Less than an hour until kickoff for anyone who cares.
There's almost no chance I watch this game tonight. LBJ's return to Cleveland >>> any other sports event/TV show tonight for me. Followed by a little FSU vs Louisville action.
Barring a significant injury to Drew Brees, there's a very good chance the Saints take control of the NFC South. This is a dangerous team, especially at home.
