Quote:Maybe we'll see Colvin before the end of the season.

We definitely will see him before the end of the season. He started practicing last week.
Just saw some PFF stats on how good Alan Ball has been this season. I know some here aren't fans of PFF, but these are fairly straightforward stats. He ranks fifth in the league in yards given up per coverage snap, eighth in passer rating against, and eighth in coverage snaps per reception. I doubt he'll be back next season because of the youth at the position, but Alan Ball played like a #1 corner during his time here.

I have liked Alan Ball since the first game he played as a Jaguar. If he is not back next season, our secondary will need to grow up real quick to avoid a major regression.
Wasn't a fan of the Ball signing initially but he's been very solid. He'll be missed.
No way they let him go. We'll have 50 mil to spend next offseason.
Re-signing Ball makes sense, even if he ends up being quality depth behind a couple of youngsters.  Obviously - the numbers have to make sense and someone may feel they need him enough to outbid Caldwell - but I'd like to see him back.  I think he's got a couple good years left.

A few of us were predicting it in September:  http://jungle.jaguars.com/index.php?/top...ntry281806
