Looks like the Bucs are having a firesale.

For a 4th and 6th
Another Bama Bust

Meh I called this in the doug Martin thread, I would of given up a 4th and 6th for him and tried him as fs

I'd rather draft Collins and keep our 4th and 6th

I'd rather use the 4th and/or 6th on the draft.
EVERYTHING MUST GO!!!

Barron is 100% worth a 4th and 6th, named to all rookie team his rookie year and shows ball hawking abilities for fs evidenced in his interceptions his first full year at Bama

Mark Barron | STL

(October 28, 2014 4:03 PM EDT)

Rams acquired S Mark Barron from the Bucs in exchange for a fourth- and sixth-round pick.

The No. 7 overall pick of the 2012 draft, Barron has yet to be an impact NFLer, and had been struggling through his least-effective season yet for Lovie Smith's soft defense. He'll slide in as an immediate starter for the Rams, who have perhaps the league's worst safety corps. Barron was dubbed a playmaker coming out of Alabama, but has created just four turnovers across 37 NFL games. Perhaps he'll start cutting loose for aggressive defensive minds Jeff Fisher and Gregg Williams. Barron is signed through 2015, but the Rams can exercise a 2016 team option. Considering Barron's draft pedigree, the Rams didn't surrender much in terms of compensation. Barron turned 25 on Monday.

So one Bama db for a top 15 pick or a for a 4th or 6th?

FS would be out of the question because he lacks the range to play the position. Playing in Lovie Smith's Tampa 2 defense he should have been an absolute ball hawk but he's even struggled with that.
He didn't fit Lovies system. I like him with the rams though. If the rams could get their pash rush back they'd be really dangerous. Robert Quinn has been a huge disappointment this year

I don't buy it. Lovie's system is probably the most DB friendly in the NFL, especially for a Safety.
Are you guys kidding? Marron looked very good last season. Barron is hardly the only defensive player looking subpar playing with the Buccs. That defense SHOULD have been very solid with acquisitions of Verner, Johnson, and Barron. A change of scenario will be good for the kid and you're going to look silly for not thinking he was worth a 4th and a 6th.
They are accumulating picks in an effort to get into position to get one of the QBs.

I don't think Barron was ever "very good". His situation in Tampa is pretty similar to Reggie Nelson here. Solid rookie year but regressed every year after that. Nelson was terrible his final year here but he turned it around in Cincinnati. Maybe Barron just needs a change of scenery but I wouldn't hold my breath.

What would irritate me were I a Bucs fan is they spent so much on the secondary over the past few years all for nothing.  They spent a first round pick on Talib then let him go.  They traded a first round pick (IIRC) for Revis then let him walk.  They spent a first round pick on Barron and just traded him.  They acquired Dashon Goldson and then Alterraun Verner.  After all of these moves, their secondary is still in flux.

This is the problem with changing coaches so often.
