Thank God. Because Cyprien and Gratz could not practice all week I was worried Joeckel would have no chance to play at Cincinnati.

Aaron Colvin was limited on Wednesday and is expected to practice all week. He has not been ruled out for Sunday.

 

Marcedes Lewis started practing on a limited basis. He is eligible to return at Indianapolis on November 23.

 

Andre Branch missed practice. His return date has not changed.

 

Will Blackmon had surgery on hisc broken left index finger.

 

Allen Hurns was limited with an ankle injury.

 

Cecil Shorts practiced in full, but has a groin injury.

 

Luke Joeckel is at the tail end of the NFL's concussion protocol.

Really excited about Colvin. Hoping he isn't rushed before he is ready. With the playoffs being out of the question, there is no reason we should. Im just trying to keep my expectations down for Colvin. Didn't Gus rave about him at the Senior Bowl? Also good tp see Joeckle progressing nicely. Here's hoping Green stubbs his big toe tomorrow. I feel like we could handle Sanu, or Green, but not both.

They are definitley not rushing Colvin. Last week he only practiced one time on a limited basis and he was limited again today.

I disagree.

He is all over the field,, and very important to their defense.


Many of their defensive players have stated they follow Burfict's lead,, and feed off of his intensity.


Although he has a knack for some crucial penalties,, he is a monster on the field more often than not.


BTW:: If Maualuga is out also (he was last game), that's a big blow to Cincy. They'll be rolling with Lemur and Vinny Rey at LB.


Lemur is capable of good coverage at times, but that's a big drop off in talent for Cincy.
