Would be interesting to see how the Defense holds up, though I think we lose this one by 3 scores.

We have every right to believe we will win on Sunday, and every Sunday for that matter. Our defense is playing as well as any team in the league, we found a running game, if the only reason you don't have faith we will win is because of 2 bad outings by our ROOKIE QB then you can't see the forest for the trees. Yes we have only one win but with the exception of the first three games this team has been very competitive, isn't that what everyone was screaming for this year. The "click" game is coming, and there is absolutely no reason to not believe it happens this week.

I'm all for optimism when it comes to the Jaguars.... except when someone 'really' wants to know if we'll win this game; in which case I'd have to say we're back on the double digit blowout train folks...

You are not for optimism at all if you think we might lose another blowout. An optimist never stops believing a win is possible and a close game is probable.
Here are Bengals statistics for anyone who cares: http://www.bengals.com/team/stats.html

Tell the defense that it's National Maul A Ginger Day.
This game is winnable.

Let's face it, if the D we've seen the last 4 games comes to play.  We're in this game with a chance of winning.

Heck, if I may be so bold...  I think we're in every game going forward.

It may be hard to see, but this team has quietly made some progress.  The losses hide the fact that our D is very good.

The turn-overs hide the fact that our offense is matriculating the ball down the field.

I don't think many people realize this, but ever since the squeelers game, we're looking like a young team that is very solid, but hasn't figured out how to win yet.

C'mon coach Babich!  Whatever you're doing, keep it up!  Give our offense a chance to figure this out and we win in Ohio

Nothing hides the improvement on defense. Somebody pointed out after the Browns game every week during our losing streak, the point margin was smaller.

That includes the Steelers game and will continue at Cincinnati.
We believe in YOU, Amari Cooper!

What do you say that for? Amari Cooper has absolutely nothing to do with the game next week.
Jags can definitely run against this team.  Jags can shut down this teams' run game.

If both of those things happen (and that's still a pretty big if) then it comes down to the Jags shaken-up secondary and rookie QB.

Bortles needs to throw for 200+ and have more TDs than INTs.  Then -  the young secondary (laden with back-ups) will have to somehow control Green and Sanu.

Too tall an order, IMO.

bungles - 24

Jags - 20

I predict the opposite, 24-20 Jaguars.  :teehee:

I am not worried about the running game. A team that is 29th against the run should give Denard another 100+ yard game and we shut down every RB after Week 4.

I think we will play musical chairs at cornerback now with Will Blackmon out indefinitely and Aaron Colvin practicing, with the new addition serving as our backup nickel.

We also need a couple rushing touchdowns. I don't see us winning without them. And of course Scobee needs to be perfect because he surely will attempt field goals.
