Thanks, huck. The growing pains are tough to suffer through, but it is good to see the beginnings of the rebuild emerging. (D-line, WR, WLB, RG are all well improved and mostly young)


An avg vet QB might help us short term. Conversely game time experience can be good for the kid since most of his mistakes are mental. Good film to evaluate and learn from. That said - I wouldn't hate the 'trade for vet' scenario you describe.

This is what I keep thinking... Blake has had his issues but its nice to do more than 3-0 and to actually cross the 50 yard line.

I clearly stated that the trade deadline is coming. It is Tuesday. I stated that pretty much in the same sentence. I was giving props about how well your team played and if it was not for poor QB play. you would win games. Would have beat us. Stats don't always tell a story. Look at it all the people saying your average stats for the year reflect your play now. Is that fair? Moore took his lumps and he has come in and won some solid games. He has that "it" fight in him. It was just an example. Half a freaking QB from somewhere would win you games. Trade deadline is Tuesday. Just making an observation.

Matt Moore is not the answer here, or anywhere else for that matter.

 

He's just a little better then Chad Henne from what I remember.

 

It's a classic case of: the longer a backup QB sits on the bench, the better he seems to get, until he starts to play again, and everyone remembers why he was on the bench to begin with.

Maybe it is someone else then. He has come in for the Dolphins and just blown out teams. Only reason he is on the bench is because the coach is tied to Tannehill.
