I was the same. I just made an account after the first game this season. Been reading everyone's posts for 10 years. Don't know why I just decided to make a name.
As for TMD. He doesn't annoy me like he does others on this board. Just a guy who has strong feelings about things. The funny thing is, he's right about a lot of things.

It is one thing to be right and a totally different animal to push an agenda like he does. He acts like the players can never do anything wrong and everything is the coach's fault, which is not true at all.

I don't know, call me crazy but if I ever got banned from this place, I'd have the decency to just go away and realize I'm not really wanted. For a guy who preaches about the downfall of society and lack of morals, I find it more than a tad ironic that he keeps coming back time and again after showing a complete lack of self-control and getting banned over and over.
Would you guys keep coming back after a ban or just display a little bit of dignity and go away quietly? I would do the latter. I'd be humiliated and embarrassed to keep coming back. I know of one poster who disagrees.
This board is like a drug to TMD.
First chance he gets to return, he'll hit it.
He won't be able to stay away, unless he completes all the steps of MBA (Message Boards Anonymous)
And even then, there's always a real good chance at a relapse.
This board is powerful stuff and very hard to resist.

He has changed throughout his time on here, I will say that. For the better, for the most part.

Boy, howdy, ain't that the truth? I was thinking about this last night, after dealing with a problem on the main Jaguars forum. From a moderator's point a view, the response to our actions can be astounding. You should read the angry reactions by some after receiving a warning for what are some very obvious infractions, or if we move or close a thread with inappropriate content for a particular forum. Or, heaven forbid, we make a mistake or violate the CoC ourselves. Because we are tyrants, hypocrites, left or right wing extremists hell bent on suppressing the voice of anyone disagreeing with our opinion, which is, of course, unanimously agreed upon by all mods no matter what the subject.
Because what happens here is not just important, it is life itself.

For me, it is the only way to talk about the Jaguars with anybody because I can't make friends locally or watch games with people who really understand football. If I was banned, I would get depressed. Mom is still learning the rules and basic terminology because she never has time to watch the whole 3-4 hours except the one day we go to a game.
