Excellent and short article on what we need to do to beat the Dolphins on Sunday. We need to get to Tannehill early and often:

On a sidenote, I haven't really posted much on here! Just to give you a little background on my story...I actually live in Mississippi. I was only 12 or 13 when the Jaguars came into the league and as a kid I started following them based off their logo. I became a diehard fan and still am to this day! Never lived in Florida or been to a game in Jacksonville unfortunately! When I was a few months old my parents moved up to Cincinnati until I was 15 then moved back down to Mississippi. I went to college in Tennessee and lived there for 5 years until I came back to Mississippi. But I am a diehard fan at 27 years old now! Never met another fan of the Jags in my life lol...Go Jaguars!
Nice to meet you all!

Umm I think you mean get I Tannehill.... I wish the dolphins had Henne though
Oops! Sorry for the mistake.
Hopefully after the game, we can call him Tannehenne
Welcome to the board Brett, i can relate as being a jaguars fan from the beginning and live in the north. Saskatchewan, canada my closest nfl city is Minnesota which is 14 hrs away so i have never been to a game as i am not a fan of the vikes.
But i rock my jags gear everyday and i have met 2 maybe 3 jag fans in my while life.
I am usually the guy they make fun of but one day when we win the super bowl they will suffer from all the Jaguars fans explodding with cheers :-)
As long as they score more points than the Dolphins I think they'll be alright.
Welcome to the board!
Apologies to Brett and Bullseye. Couldn't resist. :teehee:
I agree with the article in terms of running the ball and pressuring Tannehill. They'll need to do both to have a chance.
(Welcome to the board.)
Game plan:
1) score touchdowns
2) win!
Run the ball, stop the run. Score more points than the fish.

Too complicated.
Fisch has to score more points than the Fish.
Brett -- Welcome to the Board.
I'm having trouble with your math. You stated that you were 12 or 13 when the Jags came into the NFL and you are currently 27 years old. The Jags have been in the NFL for 20 years now so you may have actually been 7 years old when you started being a fan of the Jags --- TIME FLIES !!!

Yeah sorry, I wasn't thinking straight either on this part apparently. I think I meant to say I really started getting into them when I was about 12 years old but started liking the logo when I was 7. Thanks!
It's an easy formula to stop the dolphins
1. We have to let the dogs out on Tannehill. This defensive line needs to hit him often
2. Stop the Run.
3. Play an appropiate gameplan. If the fins are loading the box then let Bortles kill them. If they are dropping back both safety's we have to run the ball.

You know he used to be before they drafted Tannehill, right?

Who let the dogs out? Woof woof woof. Who let the dogs out?
Of course you have to change that to "Who let the Jags out?" for this game.
What is the definition of "appropriate game plan?"

.... Whaaaaaaaaa???? Next thing you'll tell me is Drew Brees played somewhere else before the saints

Pretty sure we drafted Chad Henne in the 6th. You're thinking of Brad Henne. Chad's older brother who never quite made it into the league. He was benched for Matt Moore. It's easy to confuse the two, because they look alike and play alike. But much like Derek Carr and David Carr are two different people, so are Brad and Chad.

Nope. Chad Henne joined us as a free agent after playing for the Dolphins. He was the starter one season. You are making stuff up.
