Quote:Since that game has taken over this thread I will pile on . The streets were lined with fin fans trash talking, and the walk back to the car saw many of the same trash talkers crying , how I enjoyed asking them .How did they score seven ? brings back a smile
Are you kidding me? They were all gone by the 3rd quarter. The Monday night game a few years earlier was insane. Miami Fans saying Jacksonville was Dolphin territory. They were real t...ds that game.

Pittsburgh fans are the worse. Dolphin Fans are a close 2nd(not really many left)
No way he throws over 400. They'll likely try to run like they did last week and I hope he has a decent game 260 yards and 2 tds

I have made it a goal to make it to every stadium in the NFL for an away game. While I am only about half way there, I have had fun with opposing teams fans at every stop. Every team has bad fans. It happens. We are not all rude.
Quote:I love that we have left that mark on the phins. What a wonderful win and moment in history that was Big Grin

I'm glad they dont seem to think they are going to just kill us on sunday, Now I hope they dont Big Grin

That was my single favorite Jaguars game. I wish I had been there. Brackens' final sack...just nirvana.

Lol.. I hope they don't kill us. or hurt #5. Somebody better brief our young Qb, people have long memories!

I think Blake Bortles knows about it. He grew upl rooting for the Jaguars. J.T. Thomas is from south Florida, so he might know about that too. But most players probably know nothing about 62-7.
Dolphins suck, bortles gf is hottee than tannehills and our coach doesntblook like a 93 year old man

actually blake was a packer fan, he only said he had been to a jaguars game
Quote:I know that, but it is still wishful thinking if he is hoping a reverse score will happen.

That was the best Jaguars game ever.
Best and worst game in Jags history. Ever since that game our franchise has been on a constant downward spiral to hell.

That is not what I heard. Blake said he watched the Jaguars every time they were on TV and would have gone to more games if he could. He also went to more than one game.
Interesting what I'm seeing on their fan forums; they are hugely confident of a win, arrogantly so.  The other teams we've played before have had confident fans but by and large have been a little wary of the Jags for whatever reason, usually thinking it's a trap game or whatever.  Not so Dolphin fan.  Not that it means anything come Sunday other that it would make a Jag's win all that much sweeter.

Actually if you read my OP, you can see a few people do think this is a trap game for them because the Chargers are next. I agree with them. Colts fans were scared only because we are division rivals and usually play them close. So were Titans fans, but Tennessee is no better than us. I don't understand why some Browns fans thought it was a trap game because their opponent this week is the Raiders.

If wonder if some Miami fans are exaggerating how much they expect to win by. A lot of Jaguars fans do it here. Of course 62-7 is just hoping someday it happens, not an actual prediction. But I did notice more Dolphins fans than Colts, Titans, and Browns fans were confident their team will win.

I predicted a 10 to 14 point win. Most of the media is predicting the same thing. Who knows? Any given Sunday. The Jags are seen as a team slightly better than Oakland and improving each week. Miami is seen as improving each week also. I can't think of more than 2 players that I would rather have on Miami than Jacksonville. That would even be pushing it. It is what it is. Jaguar fans have good reason for excitement and high expectations. That being said, Miami is not even a close comparison to Cleveland. Your QB play against Cleveland was just terrible. Cleveland's Defense is terrible. This game will temper expectations for 1 of our teams. I think your QB is going to be good at some point. I expect deer in the headlights Sunday.

Did you ever think Brian Hoyer had a bad day because of the pass rush? Or that forcing the Browns to become one-dimensional made life harder for him? Hoyer was bad because of us, not himself.

Cleveland's Pas Defense is actually pretty good.  It's their run defense that's bad. .  In fact passer ratings against the Browns is lower than passer ratings against the Dolphins (83.1 vs 86.3).    I don't think Bortles will ever be a 'deer in headlights'.  He throws INT's, but those are rookie mistakes (and have sometimes been on the WR)  It's a growing process, but he never lets the INT's bother him.
