Why do we want to move him inside even if he could? In today's NFL the outside linebackers are more important.

Personally, I just want him on the field as much as possible. Keep Thomas/Reynolds at Otto. Have Geno on the outside. Let Telvin handle the interior.


My line of thinking is that he can be that presence in the middle in lieu of a ball hawking free safety.


He's got a nose for the football, obviously has the speed and range, he can tackle, he can blitz and I bet he can cover. And he's a vocal leader.


They have already come out and said they aren't going this direction. But then again I wouldn't be surprised if Gus thinks better of it 2 and a half games from now.

If you're looking to get Telvin on the field it has to be at will. He'd get stoned at Mike and eaten alive at Otto. He's got a lot of talent but not a lot of weight. Put him at will and Geno at Mike.

Says who? The MLB is often called "the quarterback of the defense" because he usually is the defensive player who wears earphones and calls plays. That is a big reason losing Poz will hurt so much in addition to his leadership and ability to play the position.

Whwy put Geno in the middle? Has he ever been the Mike?

For MADDEN JUNKIES- Player of the week T Smith gold card released in Madden Ultimate Team. I got it yesterday his speed strength and block shedding all over 85. I got 3 sacks 2 ints in my first game wit him

I might readily agree with this if you are talking about 3-4 rush OLBs.

 

Otherwise, I need convincing.

I dont know about this. Kuechly and Willis are the 2 most important LB in the league IMO and both are MLB
