You forgot the " Prepare to die!"
Reverse bandwagoning is a thing now? Where you only bandwagon onto loser teams?

Ok.

To the op calm down.  They had a good victory against a beat up browns team.   Yes they deserve praise but lets not act like the Jags are back to winning to a point where it brings bandwagon fans back.  1 win is nothing lets see if they can string them together.

Exactly... a one win wagon isn't big enough to hold the whole band.

I think the term everyone is looking for is: Fairweather fans.

Ok.

I'm referencing those who are giving up their tickets.  You know, they root for the team unless they suck.  Bandwagon fans.  This isn't too hard to follow.

Agreed, but I was more referencing those who flooded this board the last few weeks.  They were sure active when things were negative.  Not so much when things are positive.

No, bandwagon applies.
Quote:I'm just curious where all the bandwagon whiney fans went? You guys were in full force for the last few weeks. Odd that we win and you all disappear. Those that gave up your season tickets are you getting them back?
It's been over twenty four hours now so time for a little reality; A win is great! ... but it was only one win out of seven games. We are still near the bottom of the barrel. We're going to have an even tougher 'roe to hoe' now with the loss of two key defenders; but, at least we don't have to worry this season about joining the '0-16' club.

Just remember, for every 'silver lining', there is a dark cloud that covers a much larger area.
Nice to finally get a win.

But if there are actually fans who sold their tickets, I doubt one win over the Browns, a team we beat last year with Henne, will get them to reconsider.

Beat Miami next week? Maybe.

Consistent competive football will bring back those fed up with redundant losing.

It was more in jest. Just found it interesting that they flood the board when things are bad, but you see nothing from them after a win.

No, it doesn't.

Bandwagon Fan is someone who likes something because it's popular.

Haha of course. But we are playing better and finally found a running game. The youth is starting to catch on and we have a lot of pieces to build around.

The team came off a 4-12 season, if that had tickets after that not sure how they're bandwagon.

Fair weather seems like a better description.
