I wouldn't go THAT far.
Quote:We need a dominant pass rusher. We need a QB. We need Safety and Oline help.
LOL... the exact same positions we said we needed when Dave took over.

Luke (OL), Cyp (safety), Blake (QB), Fowler (pass rusher).
Quote:Sign Stephon Gilmore.

Sign Tony Jefferson.

Sign Dontari Poe.

Sign Zeitler and Leary, maybe Matt Kalil for RT.
This isnt even close to a financial possibility or realistic scenario.

Certainly not when Blake is on his game, but I'd be fine with Hoyer coming in should Blake's arm wear out again like it did last year and during his rookie season. Hoyer is MILES better than Henne.

It's funny how people are obsessed with Henne when he hasn't played for almost 3 seasons. Pick your battles, people.

This!

Why fans are worried about a guy that don't even play just makes me laugh.

I would.

We've just been lucky we haven't been in situations like Dallas was in 2015 or like Oakland and Miami were this season, right before the playoffs. When you see star QB's suffer key injuries around the league and how a backup QB can effect their entire season, it's only natural to examine the backup situation on your own team. A lot of really good QB's got hurt this year at the worst times possible and their backup QB's were thrust into situations that could end the season for those teams.

So what roster moves do you want to see this off-season? What roster moves do you think NEED to happen?

Also, how many days till the release of Chad Henne? I'm ready for a actual backup QB. One that can take over if Bortles goes bonkers.

Your thoughts?

On offense I'd like to see an upgrade brought in at RT and RG. Or at least two quality depth players that can push Cann and Parnell in the event we don't believe we can land a quality replacement in the draft.

Especially at RT. Parnell killed us a lot last year. We certainly need a legitimate back-up QB with starting quality abilities to push Bortles all summer and all year as well.

On defense I'd like to see an upgrade brought in at DT and DE. Or at least two quality depth players. I don't think we can depend on Roy Miller and Senderick Marks to stay healthy anymore. Jared Odrick also seems to have a hard time staying healthy. They've struggled to stay on the field the past two years.

I think Jackson did enough. I think Jones is a quality player. Alualu is decent. But we could use more depth across the front four again.

Not only that, but he was utter garbage the last time he actually did play. We haven't seen decent qb play from Henne since 2013.

Someone's been playing to much Madden.

It's the Christmas jammies that do it.
Trade ARob while we can.

Not gonna' happen.

Did you find out who Wade Philips is?  :teehee:

Happy birthday, BTW.

This, very strange obsession with Chad amongst this Jags fan base
Don't you think the raiders thought they were set at quarterback and the backup didn't matter?

Then they had to play the backup to the backup!

You saw how that ended.

Chad represents the decision by the former staff to not have any reinforcements at QB. Plus...that 'stache and smirk...

This whole thread is a Christmas list. This team has plenty of cash already and some high dollars contracts to term. I stand by my selections as the ideal way to instantly become the best team in football.
The curse of Chad Henne... His time coming guys... Trust me..
People here have a Henne fetish. It's gross.
