I would prefer we don't draft cooper. Our WRs are young, but they have talent. If Blackmon doesn't come back, or doesn't try to, draft a number 1 the following year.

Resign Austin Pasztor, Alan Ball, Roy Miller (If we can't get another DT), and anyone else we deem important or for depth.

Free Agency Pickups

DT or OLB

Jermaine Gresham TE Cincinnati

Draft

Round 1-Todd Gurley RB UGA

Round 2-Kurtis Drummond FS Michigan State

Round 3-Josh Shaw CB USC

Round 3-Aundrey Walker OG USC

Round 4-A.J. Johnson ILB Tennessee

Round 5-Michael Orakpo OLB Texas State

Round 6-Connor Hamlett TE Oregon State

Round 7-Jeffrey Whitaker DT Auburn

Extra 3rd from trading down and we get Gurley in the process.

Several times on the NFL Sunday ticket broadcast of the Jags / Titans game, the announcer referred to the JAGS as having the youngest team in Pro Football. He pointed out that this team has (6) rookies starting on offfense. To me people, this speaks volumes as to just why this team is where it is today. They ARE GROWING as a team. Unfortunately, losing all your games detracts from the getting better process. I believe the majority of us (including me) were pumped up with excitement prior to the season based on all the moves that were made. What we all failed to do however was to temper our expectations and now many have grown dis-illusioned with this team when in reality, they are just not that good of a team............YET. This team is a work in progress. That's what the brass along with the coaches ought to be grading themselves on. Are we improving? If not, then it's not only fair but necessary that the JAGS office look at making changes by season's end. Until then, we might as well buckle our seat belts even tighter because it's possible from a win / loss perspective...............it could end up ugly. As humans it's only natural to LOVE victory, but we must force ourselves to be even more patient in times like these.

And, first and foremost, we need to lay off getting personal with individual players.
