I don't know what the odds of Blackmon getting back on the field for the Jags might be, but if he does we could finally have another duo like thunder and lightning.

Come on Justin, get your life in order and become a superstar with Blake Bortles.

Your football dreams can still come true if you can just find some discipline in your life.

It's your move.
Blackmon had 64 receptions his rookie year.

Quote:Sanders has the Jaguars record for receptions at 51, Robinson has 30 already in six games. He'll break our record in the next few games. I'm a huge fan of Caldwell considering he's drafted players like Bortles, Robinson, Cyprien, McCray, and Sanders. I think players like Joeckel, Storm, Telvin Smith, Lee, and Colvin will pan out as well. Allen Robinson has looked like the best of the bunch not named Bortles

sorry about that, I stand corrected. I domt know why I thought Sanders was the record holder
High Five. It happens.

You just forgot about JB, because out of sight, out of mind.

We are all hoping that changes next season, but who knows.
As long as Robinson stays healthy, he should be the first Jags WR to crack 1,000 yards in a long time.

Next year or this year?

He's been averaging 61.6 yards per game as a started.
He needs to average 68.9 yarde per game ROS to hit 1,000.

Hopefully he has one big game in him (100+ yards) to help bump that average up, because 1,000 yards would make him a huge asset in my dynasty football leagues.
Robinson kind of reminds me of Boldin a bit.

Quote:....is quietly having a nice stretch of games.

I'd like to see him make some plays further downfield, but he does seem like he might be a volume type of pass catcher. The important thing is when the ball gets to his catch radius, he usually does catch it. His efficiency is pretty good in terms of his target to catch ratio.

I think he's caught more than 4 passes in every game since week 2 and more than 5 passes for 3 straight weeks.

Its nice when draft picks seem to be working out.
I feel he's doing a great job, but one thing he needs to learn is when covered and the ball is passed to him to be more aggressive running up to it or at least then playing defender to help prevent the int or huge yardage after the int...
Allen Robinson is currently ranked 21s in receptions with 30, tied with Sammy Watkins at #39 in yards 311 yds he has a 10.4 avg while sammy has 12... so that's impressive if you ask me considering the Oline & rookie QB & that he didnt play all the games all the time like Sammy did...

Allen Hurns has 18 rec, 298 yards, 16.6avg with 3 tds.

I think he cracks it this year. Just a gut feeling. Gets a couple 100 yard games in there and BOOM... 1000!
AR15 won't be doing much downfield. Not on a consistent basis. He doesn't have the speed. He is a possession receiver. If there is a guy on the team that has the potential to be the deep threat it is Lee. He is the one with the speed.

I don't know either, unless you are trying to overstate Ace Sanders who's nothing but a fringe player.

I'd say that all of the Jags WR, sans Shorts could be doing a better job of going back for the ball in tight coverage. Several of Blake's INT's this year have been the result of the WR giving up on the route. Robinson isn't the only culprit here.

Unnecessary comment, man. In school I never raised my hand to say, "I don't know the answer." But I do think Ace has value as a receiver, punter returner, and a role player. It's subjective, of course.

Well, given that Blackmon just set the record not even 2 years ago...

If it was an honest mistake, then no harm no foul, but its still odd how you could forget about Blackmon's year. He's legit.

Nice. But to me he's more like Brandon Marshall. Just not as strong yet.

Sad thing is the Hurns could have about 5tds already this season if he didn't struggle with drops
These comparisons to other good receivers doesn't sound right. I don't know who he compares to but to me he's just a receiver who catches the ball every time it is thrown his way and then gets tackled. Bolden killed it his rookie year and Marshall he's not. I dont agree he and Blackmon is the same either but whatever. He's good and will stick with us but he has a lot to prove to get on those dude's level.

Robinson is also 20 years old so he's actually got a LOT of time to get naturally stronger.

20 is VERY young to be doing even what Robinson is already doing in this league.

Imagine how many yards Hurns could have if he wasn't dropping passes.
