It is time now to think about Tennessee, our next opponent. This will be a road game for us. While I never want anyone to get hurt I think it will help us if Jake Locker does not play. Because our defense gave up only 10 points Sunday (the pick six does not count), we have shown the ability to avoid double-digit losses. I think we can win this one, but the receivers have to stop dropping perfect passes. My guess is we will get Marqise Lee and Dwayne Gratz back, but not Cecil Shorts.
What are your thoughts about the game?
Is there something wrong with the way I started this thread? I am surprised nobody wants to post in it.
Should have made the title of this thread "Jaguars @ Titans score predictions" or something like that...
Buuutttt, since you didn't and I feel making a separate thread for a very similar topic would be pointless, I'll just put that in here.
This is the first game that I feel we should win. I felt like the Steelers were beatable, but I didn't think we would quite have what it took to pull it off. But I do believe we can and will beat the Titans.
Jaguars - 20
Titans - 17

I never do that because I don't predict scores myself, only wins and losses. This thread is supposed to be about a lot more than score predictions.
I hope Locker doesn't play so I can see more of Whitehurst's awesome ponytail.

I did not see a ponytail on the game highlights yesterday.
Is he good for a backup?

Rumor has that like Samson, his strength lies in the hair. So, who's our scissors guy, do you think?

Too bad we don't have Babin the Barber anymore LOL.

Yeah, you're right, I forgot about that. If Babin was still on the team, Whitehurst would be trembling in fear at the thought of what kind of danger his flowing locks would be in.
Hopefully, we'll be seeing plenty of this Sunday.
Is that a picture of Charlie Whitehurst?

It's really a shame they make him wear a helmet, don't you think?

No it's not. It's really a shame we need to hope he plays instead of Jake Locker. I only care about what happens on the field, not thre opposing quarterback's hair.

Hey, his hair is happening, and since he and his hair will be on the field, his hair will be happening on the field.
I think this will be the Jags week. I'd feel more confident if it were a home game. titans with whitehurst plus
(Excuse me, just saw O'Brien on NFL network. That butt chin of his just made me go "uggggghhhhhh".
I forgot what I was saying.
Ugh.
Might sound horrible but when I saw our schedule this was the first game I really did check off as a W. I was hoping we'd find a game or two in the first 5 but I wasnt truly expecting a win in that hard stretch. I believe this could and should be our first win of the season.
We played far better on Def this past week, holing Brown, Bell and Ben to 10 points is pretty huge IMO. The Titans dont have that combo and our Def should still be solid. Gratz might be back and hopefully he plays at a high level when he does return.
Add in the trouble the Titans have also been in with their QB and such that just helps our D i believe, but we still need Bortles and Co to do some work this week, Hurns cant be a drop machine and the run game needs to step it up even more(I believe storm did a fine job for what he was given this week)
Either way I hope its a solid game and the Jags find a way to win it against a division rival. 17-13 Jags.

I have a gut feeling Toby will be benched this week. Either Denard or Storm should be the starter. In my preseason predictions, I thought the Redskins would be Win #1. I expected all of the other losses. McCray played well enough for me to wonder if Gratz just lost his starting job and will be a nickel when he comes back.

LOL Did somebody pull it Sunday? I don't even know how long it is.
I think the Titans win this one, due to the fact they are at home. Yes, they really let one get away from them Sunday allowing the Browns to come way back to defeat them.
Jags:
As much promise for the future has been shown,, the fact remains that this offense has only generated a whopping 3 FG in the past 6 qtrs of play. They really need to step it up.
The defense looked better Sunday. But, that was the first time in a while they've resembled an actual NFL team. Will they continue to play "fairy solid"? Or, will they backslide into what we have watched the few games prior?
Both units need to show up and play well. I have to see it to believe it first.
Tacks win this one close
