We shall see.

Past history is no indication of future performance, especially with a very young team.
Quote:The steelers just bled us to death. We let the backs catch and run all day because our lbs just drop into zone every play

Anytime you hold the opposing offense to 10 points that's a damn good day. The defense wasn't to blame this week.

Been saying it since last season.

Did i say it was all their fault?

Our offense sucks too but this defensive scheme is beyond vanilla and allowed quite alot of yards today
When are the coaches held accountable?

You are happy with this defense? We just line up and refuse to disguise coverages. Its really easy to beat.

Our offense is equally bad. We just play within the sticks too much. Early in the games we try ti stretch it out, but late we get really tight and stop mixing it up

Not to be rude but who cares? The end result was 10 points and the team still had a chance going into the final minutes.

I care because opposing QBs know exactly what we are doing. Dont pretend that the Steelers were not in complete control the entire game. They had the lead the entire second half and were able to convert when they needed to.

We had multiple stops this game. Probably more than the last 4 games combined. The Steelers are averaging 24 points a game. We held them to 10.
Bradley always looks confused to me.  I think he is on a short leash and will probably be working in the auto parts industry soon.

I think you kind of have to expect that as these cats learn what their respective roles are within the defense. You can't start getting all exotic and creative within any kind of scheme if all 11 guys don't have the basics down. Clearly, our boys do not have the basics down...but today was a pretty substantial step in the right direction imo.

This young team simply hasn't been able to put it all together yet and I personally don't see it happening until the bye...just like last season. Once we see the offense we saw last week in SD playing alongside a defensive effort more like the one today, is when we might see a win or two.
The defense did well today, but to be fair the Bucs did well against the Steelers offense.
If the front office wasn't so cheap, Jags could have got Andy Reid and we'd be a better team.  Look like a well coached team that knows what its doing out there.

Andy Reid walked into a ton of talent..

We're now comparing the roster Bradley inherited to the one with 7 pro bowlers that Reid did? ....ok

Andy Reid walked into a loaded situation.  You can't even begin to compare the two.
