Hey all, quick question.
Someone just dropped Rainey in one of my leagues, what do you guys think of that backfield battle in TB? Any chance Rainey wins out? Who is more physically talented?
Secondly, if I pick up Rainey my most likely drop will be Gerhart. Worth? Thanks.
Rainey is the more talented back. But Doug Martin will always get more carries if healthy.
Dropping Gerhart for him is a toss up IMO. Can't rely on either right now but I do think Gerhart will have some much better performances now that the Jags have easier defenses to play against.
If it were me. I wouldn't drop Gerhart for him.
Rainey likes to do a disappearing act.. A lot.. I dropped him in a good amount of leagues and picked up that Vikes back up..
Two disappointing running games, but one guy has a clearer path to carries and a sure path to goaline work. I'd stick with Gerhart myself.
Don't do it . He's done squat. I have to start slowby this week bc Rainey has been terrible.
