Full Version: Running back question..

I currently have Eddie Lacy, Le'Veon Bell, Trent Richardson, Toby Gerhart, and Carlos Hyde. Hyde has the long-term keeper potential, but I was wondering who else I should pick up between these three guys: Chris Johnson (Jets), Isaiah Crowell (Browns), and Lorenzo Taliaferro (Ravens). I'm leaning towards Crowell. I have loved what I have seen from him so far this year and while Tate is about to come back, I think Crowell has a ton of talent and will eventually be the guy.

Also, one more question.. PPR scoring, who do you go with? Andrew Hawkins (Browns), Eddie Royal (Chargers), or John Brown (Cardinals). Yet again, leaning towards the Brown (Hawkins).. I think Royal is just strictly chasing points but Brown has most potential but most in the way right now. Thanks for the help guys!

Exactly what I was thinking and that's exactly what I did. I appreciate the input. Would you mind one more question? I got a buddy who has Frank Gore and would like to handcuff Carlos Hyde to him. He has Bishop Sankey.. my gut is telling me while it's hard right now watching Hyde not produce much with limited opportunities and Sankey is on the up and up, I think Hyde has the better upside down the road. What's your short and long term opinion on both? Should I attempt to trade Hyde for Sankey straight up?
Crowell, it wont be long until Tate is hurt again and Crowell has been producing more than West has been

Is it a redraft league or keepers?

Redraft, I would go with Sankey because he's already slated to get more carries (Rotoworld Football ‏@Rotoworld_FB  3h

I don't see Gore's carries going anywhere so long as he stays healthy.

It is a keeper league.. and from the moment I found out my league was moving towards a keeper league, Hyde has been "my guy". I got great value for him and I guess I should just stick to that.. With T-Rich and Gerhart struggling, I've just been super worried about my RB position. We have two RBs and a RB/WR spot. It's a PPR, so I mostly rock another receiver there but I need T-Rich or Gerhart to emerge as a solid RB3.

No Problem, I have Gerhart also... I'm hoping he can turn it around. At the very least he should keep getting goaline work. Also, if you're in a Yahoo league, something to keep in mind in case Gerhart completely falls on his face: Denard Robinson is WR eligible only.
