Even if Gerhart isnt going to remain a long term starter, the jaguars have Storm waiting in the wings and I think he has potential to be the future starting back, mixing D rob in as the change of pace guy

The reason I see to replace him is the fact that he is getting slower and shaken up more. He would have been great if he played 20+ years ago when teams mostly ran the ball up the middle. Don't get me wrong though, I still think he's a good LB and captain, but in 2-3 years he will be like Urlacher. If the guy runs straight at him great. Otherwise, he has issues. He actually looks a lot like he'd be great at FB, but that's a demotion and pay cut.
