When people say we give up more yards than anyone else, they are just talking about total yards - both passing and rushing. The Chargers are down to their #3 RB, but will continue to run the ball like Donald Brown is their regular starter. Does this mean we should have better luck stopping the run tomorrow?

We are ranked 32nd in total yards, pass yards, and rushing yards individually.

The Jags have allowed more rushing yards than any other team.

The Chargers being down to their third back could help the Jags somewhat - but I think there are a number of third string backs who could average 4+ yards per carry against the Jags D if they don't improve.

Of course they will still try and run the ball. I have never seen a team completely abandon the run just because they are using their third string running back.
