Hard to say.  I'd like to watch him play a couple full games first, but I hope at that point he's on his way to a fat contract here.

I don't like projecting too much on this subject.  Burned and toasted too much.  We are going to see some ups and downs and some will freak out and jump off the wagon.  All we need at this point is to escape out of the bottom 1/3 of the league.  Get some real building block movement and enjoy watching real football again.

He will be bagging groceries at Walmart. Bum couldn't even bring us back from a 30 point deficit in a half. Complete bust.

President Bortles?????

I don't think he'll be in the top five. He would have to oust the below listed QB's. Three years from now. This will be your top five.

1. Andrew Luck

2. Aaron Rodgers

3. Matt Ryan

4. Matthew Stafford

5. Russel Wilson

Guys like Brady, the Manning's, and Brees should be out of the picture by 2017. Blake, IMHO, has the potential to be in the top ten though. I think his career will potentially play out much like Matt Ryan's first few years in the NFL. We may not win as many games as ATL did. We don't have the luxury of playing nine games a year inside a dome. But, if Caldwell can give this kid some pass protection, and continue to add weapons around him (just like the teams have done for those top five guys I just listed), he has plenty of potential.

Starting in a Superbowl.

3 Super Bowl MVPs!!!!
25 :teehee:

Expectations should be for Blake Bortles to be a top 5 QB that would give the Jaguars a realistic chance to go deep in the playoffs each season, providing the surrounding supporting cast isn't a collective liability.

Having already accomplished Rookie of the year, NFL MVP, and Superbowl MVP, been to Disney World twice (with a ride having been named the B2 Bomber), he marries his college sweetheart and she gives birth to twin boys that have already been signed by Khan to follow in Daddy's footsteps.

The Texans, having passed on the QB prodigy, have still yet to defeat him on the field. (This continues in perpetuity).

And he remains a regular joe, signing autographs around the country for a tidal wave of Jaguar fans nationwide.

The helmets return to all matte black - and a teal #5 is added to American flag as its 51st star.
In Jacksonville.
