Maybe i'm not understanding what you mean my potential. Potential talent to make the biggest turnaround or potential upside to score points currently. We have one of the worst offenses in the league, but can be the most improved. As far as potential on offense, well we have yet to score more than 17 points so while the potential may be there, it also may not.
Also, this offensive line is truly offensive so it could be holding back significantly on improvements.

True, and while I know you aren't necessarily advocating dumping either, at this point there's not much reason to do so in either case.
Henne is now in the role he should've been in all along (backup). Marcedes, while infuriating at times, is that dude that always seems to make those crazy catches he has no business making and missing wide open looks (his last TD aside). I always half jokingly think that our QB, whomever he is, should always throw Lewis passes he has to
really work for...those are the ones he seems to reel in with his perfect-pass-adverse hands.
To me it's smart to build with youth. These guys can grow and play longer. Even guys like Beadles and Good aren't considered to be in their prime yet.
If you can build an elite roster and everyone is 25 years old then you have a team for the ages. Longevity is the key to success.
I think about the clots with Peyton. They constantly go beat in the playoffs but went every year. Then they got a year where Pitt, and the patriots were hurt and the had a cake walk to the championship.
If you can constantly get to the tournament you eventually get to big dance. But it's only if your team can last long enough. That come from starting out young.
