Quote:Did you see him in pre-season?

Not sure if you're asking just anyone, but yes, he played late in the pre-season.
Quote:shes saying that the Chargers shouldnt have been expected to beat the Seahawks, since the Seahawks are the defending champs and regarded as the best team in the League, but they did beat them, so why cant we beat the Chargers since they are regarded as a better team than us.

With Bortles now playing, I'd say everything is open; the entire season is a wild card.

But I still don't think we're going to win many games, and the Chargers will probably destroy us.
Quote:Ace comes back in a couple weeks and all the talk is of him being a good punt returner, not so much at receiver. Last year he didn't really have a position. He played in the slot, out wide and in the backfield. He played 15 games and started 4. 51 Receptions for 484 (Both 2nd on the team behind CS3). Sounds like more than a punt returner to me. He can be a difference maker if used properly. I hope they don't overlook all that.
I always saw Ace as being equal to Mike Brown in talent, but Mike Brown has been a huge disappointment so far this season (not playing nearly as good as last year).  I hope Ace can get clean first off, and then have a good career but he has to prove himself to his teammates, coaches, and to us fans that he is trust worthy...

He put the sauce on that AZ defender haha great play.
Quote:which means he didnt

But it does mean he can do it. Having that threat back there is a positive.

Man I forgot how quick he is. He shifts into a higher gear after the first ten yards. He had some good catches by positioning his body too.
I can't wait to get Ace back. He adds a dimension at WR that we don't currently have.

Ace Sanders is our Percy Harvin.  Explosive and deadly.

Quote:Ace has a special role with screens and quick slants like we saw last year.  He's deadly in the return game, so there's that. He's an explosive play-maker and should repeat what he did last year.

Honestly I would hope he doesn't repeat a 484 yard season.  I would hope he can double that.  With him in the slot, we have three other legit targets with CS3, AR15, and Hurns to take away focus on the underside routes.  I would hope Ace gets more involved in the passing game and we leave punt return duties to somebody like Will Blackmon.

And seriously, I can't think of you as anything else but a troll at this point.  At what point has Ace ever looked in any way like Percy Harvin?  How about never.

I understand being optimistic here, but take the teal goggles off for a bit and look at reality.  He has a long way to go before he's just another slot guy getting 3-4 targets a game.
No, he's just a guy.  An undersized one at that.

He is NOT a difference maker unless he goes to the Arena League.

The best we can hope for is that he can improve our punt return game.

Well, we'll have to force some punts first.

Like people say Bortles is a gamer, Ace is a gamer. Yeah he's small and he's not gonna break many tackles BUT he can definitely make people miss and with the ball in his hands he's a big play threat.

How many TD passes does Harvin have?

I rest my case.
