Oh, I don't doubt that you are a genuinely good man in real life. I'm sure you are.  I just hate you as a poster on this board. You get too high, followed by too low. And then you start spewing off ridiculous suggestions like starting Corey Grant and Chad Henne. And you go from loving a player to hating him in a one game span. I live in New York so I won't be at the next home game. but I'll be flying in to Jacksonville to catch the Vikings game for my birthday, I'll take you up on that beer then.

Still sucks, and worse than Bortles. Are you insane?!?!

Geno > Bortles.


Geno can functionally throw a football. He doesn't wind up for 10 seconds only to throw a wobbling duck. Also, say what you want about geno's attitude but he doesn't throw tantrums on the field like drunk blake.

Geno Smith will stay the mystery QB to me. 

 

The final 5 games that we have seen him play were actually really solid. 8:3 TD:INT, 65% completions, 100.5 passer rating, 8.4 YPA.

 

Had he not gotten punched in the jaw, then hurt his shoulder, and now his ACL...who knows but maybe his perception would be completely different.

Agree. I would have really liked to see the kind of progress he would have made over a full season last year with much better personnel and scheme.

How do the Giants choose to start Geno? Bench Eli for Geno??? At least give your young guy a shot and see what he's got. Webb is an unknown. Geno is above average backup material.

This is very much along the lines of how I view the Giants decision.  It doesn't make sense.

Easy, tank job and Eli cant get hurt so he still has a little trade value.  If we dont get Cousins I think we try to get Eli and draft our QB of the future.
