"It was the best of times. It was the worst of times."
Dickens' famous novel of the same name as the title of this thread begins with the above quote (or something approximating it).
That novel discussed pre French Revolution France.
But the tale of two cities may also describe the QB fates of Jacksonville and Miami.
While we here in Jacksonville are currently delighted with the ascent of Blake Bortles to starting QB, Miami is uncertain about theirs.

After watching the game yesterday, there's good reason to be concerned about Tannehill. He was horrible.
I rarely ever watch Miami

Sure would be nice if the Jags could trade Henne back to Miami for a little something.
He already knows the city and the stadium, so that's a couple of pluses.
And he's very recently available to step right in and start.
I am even willing to take the chance he gives away some Jags secrets when we play them later this year.
Who plays Sydney Carton in this episode?

I am sure the Dolphins would have re-signed him three years ago if he was good enough in Miami.
No way would I trade someone away to a future opponent. That would bite us in the butt.
As a Miami resident, I can certainly tell you that Dolphans are beginning to question whether Tannehill is their franchise QB. When he was drafted, and all the way up to the beginning of the season, Dolphins fans believed in him. It's slowly starting to fade.
Also, I don't think Philbin is around after this season. Dolphins owner, Stephen Ross, likes to make fancy splashes and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes after Jim Harbaugh real hard. I think he likes to idea of Tannehill coached by him.

Coach Philbin: Tell me a little about them, Chad.
Chad: Coach, I know what they like to do. Their QB locks on to receivers, stands in the pocket too long and gets sacked a lot. He is also highly inaccurate.
Coach Philbin: That is you Chad
Chad: Oh yeah... well, I have no clue what they like to do to be honest coach.

Sure wouldn't want the Dolphins compromising us getting that final playoff spot. They did expand the playoffs to 22 teams, right?

The Jags have been bitten in the backside for so many games that I just don't believe that Henne could do any further damage if he was on the opposing team.
The way the Fins are unhappy with RT right now, there would even be a chance to play against Henne.
How much fun would that be right here at the Bank??
We can only dream about such a scenario. Bortles vs Henne

On the upside, we could see Henne throw to guys in Jags uniforms, and actually see a first down off of them!
"It was the best of times, it was the BLURST of times!!!!"
ONe of my favorite SImpsons jokes of all time.
