Quote:Hopefully Marqise returns week five. Add him and Ace Sanders back into the mix and we can finally see what this WR corps is capable of doing.

Especially after Blake Bortles practices a whole week with them.
Quote:Bortles starting and Prosinski out???   There goes 80% of the whining around here.  :teehee:

who am i kidding ? - there's plenty to whine about
Wow, this is tough, I definitely need something to whine about or I'm not gonna make it through the week

Good point.

What encourages me is you can make the argument that when he returns, he would be arguably the 5th best receiver at this point.

Now that doesn't speak to raw unrefined ability or better long term potential.

But as I indicated in another post, A quintet of Robinson, Shorts, Hurns, Lee and Sanders has loads of potential.

The bolded is the best part too. Three rookies, a second year player, and a fourth year player. I don't want to get ahead of myself and say the WR position is solved, but as long as they stay healthy the future looks bright.
It's too early to call anyone a bust, but Lee doesn't bring anything to the offense at this point. He should be the one getting a redshirt year.

Quote:Per 1010Xl,

Bradley states Lee has already been ruled out for the SD game due to his hamstring.

Also, Chris Prosinski could miss the next 2-4 weeks.
Things are getting better already.

"You go girl!"

The Chargers placed Woodhead on season ending IR with a broken leg. Matthews could be out too leaving the Chargers with Donald Brown at RB.

If Rivers and his backup are healthy, their running game is irrelevant.  Especially against our defense.

Hey! Let me have some hope no matter how minuscule!

Think about the biggest issue this defense has.  They can't cover a TE to save their lives.  Then think about who we're facing this week.  You're welcome to all the hope you want.  I'm sure they could magically fix the issues this defense has.  It's about as likely as "You go girl!" posting something thought provoking, but it could happen.

I know. And then factor in the game being played on the west coast I'm pretty sure the Chargers already have Sunday marked down as a win. I guess the only hope the Jags have is if the Chargers play Sunday nonchalantly and we happen to catch them napping and play a full 4 quarters. That and Rivers catching the flu.

The Chargers are not writing it off as a win yet. They want to learn more about this Blake Bortles guy. Right now, they don't know much more than his name, number, throwing arm, and job title unless he talked to Mike McCoy during the combine and UCF Pro Day. I am sure they could write it off as a win if Chad Henne was still the starter.
Quote:Proz out is bigger then lee being out. I know he sucks as a safety back up. But he is one of our best special teams players and he will be missed on covering punts and kickoffs.

Wait... Are you serious? He's a decent special teamer... but there's no way him being out has a bigger impact than Lee.

Boo, oh well hopefully he gets healed to 100% I wonder if Lee will play the following week???

I feel confident that Blake can get stuff done with Hurns, Shorts III, and Robinson... need better play from our TE though....

Chri Proinski is a failure they should just cut the guy from the team...
Quote:Oh no! Not prosinski!

Exactly

If he was only decent, with as bad as he is at safety, he would not make the 53. He is better then decent. If we dont seem to miss him on Special teams while he is out im sure they will let him go but im sure it will be noticed he isnt in there.
