Thursday, September 25th
7:30 PM
Texas Tech at No. 24
Oklahoma State
10:00 PMNo. 11
UCLA at No. 15
Arizona State
Not a bad way to start the weekend. Two pretty good match ups and both televised.
Saturday, September 27th
12:00 PM
Tennessee at No. 12
Georgia
Curious to see how Georgia rebounds, how Tennessee rebounds, and what kind of team that both are at this point. Still a lot unknown on both still I think.
12:00 PM
South Florida at No. 19
Wisconsin
3:30 PM
Arkansas vs. No. 6
Texas A&M*
Has Bylsma got things working at Arkansas yet? Big test in A&M
7:00 PM
Missouri at No. 13
South Carolina
Not an easy one to come back to after last week's loss for Mizzou.
If only to me...
USF @ Wisconsin ?? USF lost to NC State 49-17
That said, you need to include FSU @ NC State @ 3:30 pm.
Throw in Stanford @ Washington @ 4:15 pm --- Washington has some of Sarkesians top recruits.
Oregon State @ USC could get interesting. OSU's QB (Mannion) is decent.
Pitt vs Akron @ 1:30
Arkansas has looked pretty good so far. I'm interested to see if they give A&M a game.
By the way, take a peek at the following week

Ole Miss vs. Alabama
Mississippi State vs. Texas A&M
UCLA vs. Utah
Arizona St. vs USC
Ohio State vs. Maryland
Stanford vs. Notre Dame
Nebraska vs. Michigan State
LSU vs. Auburn
Why isn't Florida listed here? I bet Trav is interested in that one.

As always, feel free to add your own. I suppose I need to go back and add that again.

They're on a bye. Tennessee next week.

Then why did they say making up the Idaho game on October 25 would mean not having a bye all season? That was the only reason given for the "no contest" decision.

Because they have two bye weeks. One before UT, one before UGA. Personally I liked it the way it is, didn't want the reschedule.

That does not answer my question. The reason given not to make up the Idaho game was they would have NO bye weeks, implying October 25 is their ONLY bye week.

Maybe Idaho wouldn't have had a bye week.

They said Florida would not have one either.

I think they were saying that they wouldn't have a bye week before a big conference game, not that they wouldn't have one at all. The schedule was out and everyone knew they have two this year, so it's not likely that they would try to make something up.
I'm sure you just misunderstood JW.

No, not at all.
I feel like there are a lot of bye weeks this weekend. my teams...
Vandy at Kentucky - Tough loss for Kentucky two weekends ago against Florida. They probably should have won. Some tough calls went against them. They dont look like your typical Kentucky team. They are very athletic. and very aggressive. Dont like Vandy's chances. They did look a lot better against Carolina. But they seem to play Carolina tough. Plus having two kickoff return TDs will help make any game look closer. I will say Vandy true freshman QB Freebeck looks legitimate. Big kid. big arm. Lots of potential. Remember his name. Could challenge for SEC 1st team in a few years.
Tenn at Georgia - Not sure what to think of Tennessee. Had their moments against OU but overall not as much talent. Wonder how long Butch Jones has before the seat gets warm. May already be warm. Georgia should win this.
other games...
North Carolina at Clemson - normally I may not even list this but I'm going to this game so I'm putting it up high. Meeting some buddies in Greenville. Watch the Vandy game at a bar. Then make the short drive over to Clemson. Tailgate for a few hours. Go to the game. And then roll on home. Should be fun.
Arkansas at A&M - game is at Jerry's world. I'm eager to see this.. if I have the time. Hogs looked really good against Texas Tech. A&M has looked good against everybody. Amazing how good A&M's offense looks so far.
Mizzou at SC - Not sure what happened to Mizzou last weekend against Indiana. Should have rolled in that game. Mizzou still controls their destiny in the East. So does SC. Doesnt appear to be an obvious top team in that division.
UCLA at Arizona St - Did I see this right? Is UCLA favored? At Arizona St and dont know if it's sure Hundley will be playing. Looking at Arizona St schedule, they havent played a ton of great opponents. But they are ranked 15th while UCLA 11th. I would think the line would be closer.
Stanford at Washington - Huskies are undefeated. Will be their toughest opponent yet. Not sure what to think of Stanford. USC loss wasnt a good one.
Oregon St at USC - Beavers probably arent as good as their 3-0 record. Some close games against so-so opponents. Their QB continues to light it up though. Closing in on all time Pac12 record.
Duke at Miami - Canes favored by a touchdown. Canes have played a tougher schedule. Duke put a number on them last year and I'm not sure the Canes are a whole lot better. Theyve got the freshman QB who has looked better but is still a frosh. If I had to guess I'd say Duke wins.
Since the Gators don't have a game, I have no idea what to watch. It could be a boring Saturday.
Someone explain this to me . . .
The Cox TV channel lineup indicates I do get the Big Ten Network as part of the sports pacage that includes NFL Network. But when I put the TV on that channel, I saw a phone number to call to get BTN. So much for being excited about watching Ohio State beat Cincinnati.
Maybe I should pray for a channel I get to show their first game against Maryland.
