This is what an elite QB looks like people. 0 timeouts, down 8 points with less than a minute remaining in the 4th Q, marches down field in 41 seconds and throws a TD, and converts the two point conversion.

If that is what Blake Bortles can be like, and follow in Mannings footsteps, we're in good shape for years to come people.

Manning is still impressive.
Wilson's OT drive was more impressive.

Still don't like the NFL OT rules specifically for this reason. Each team should at least get a possession, regardless of whether they score or not. Or play a whole extra quarter like the NBA or Soccer.

A field goal shoot out would be interesting.... Not serious with that one. But would be cool to watch.
I think the old rule was better first points win the game.

You lose coin toss better make sure defense helps you out. It's a team game not 1 or the other.
I think both sides deserve a chance

Yes it's a team sport. But the team has no control over who wins the coin toss.

Each team needs a chance. That's the only fair way.
Why it's a team sport if you need to stop the other teams offence in OT to win then stop them.

Look at NHL 1st goal wins not 2nd or 3rd first.

I agree with this in premise --  but the league has been changing and creating rules incrementally for a decade now to make the games more entertaining (more offense for the masses).

I think that is why they changed the OT rules.  To make them reconcile with the other rule changes that favor the team with the ball.
NHL has constantly changing possession. It's hardly the same style of sport. Even a shoutout in soccer doesn't end on the first goal.

The style of possession in the NFL, IMO, highly favors the offense. Both teams offense needs a shot. And it's up to your defense to make their offense score less than yours. They work in tandem.
Hence why it is you score a fg you get a shot they score a td game over.

Everyone complained about losing cause of a fg well now their complaing because they got a TD and there offense never got a shot.

It happens. Thats why there's two sides. If your defense gives up a td on first possession.

Your defense should of played harder.

That doesn't make it fair. You think Peyton thought it was fair to watch them score and not even get a chance to touch the ball? With the offense favoring rules it's simply not fair to not give both offenses a shot.

If the Broncos had gotten the ball and scored a TD,, I'm sure Peyton would've been quite alright with it.
