Denard Robinson is developing the ability to make his own plays and that was evident when Bortles came in.

This offense NEEDS a mobile QB to operate. The read option kept the Colts guessing and I suspect the Jags will be using it often now that Bortles is in.

He has to start. Im done with Slowby
Bortles ability to run and willingness to throw downfield (in spite of picks) will help the running game tremendously. Much less stacking of the box by opponents hopefully.   D-Rob and Gerhart will benefit.

He is going to be starting pretty soon.

Easily the most talented RB on our roster. The one worry I have is his ability to take hits at this level, so I don't ever see him as a 200+ touches type of back.

I think the stretch play with the rollout to the opposite side thing that they do will get a lot more dangerous with DRob and Bortles running it.

It seemed like there were 1 or 2 runs by DRob that were one broken tackle away from major yardage.

Definitely looks the part which is great for a converted QB. People say Storm Johnson is a real diamond in the rough. I haven't seen him play much but if he is as good as thought, maybe he's the guy that can spell D-Rob or they can do a RB by committee thing to keep them both fresh. Todman, for all his talent is obviously not the guy.

How is that much different from all the hits he took as a running quarterback at Michigan?

NFL players are hitting him.

And he was constantly banged up at Michigan.

Probably not tremendously different although you could make the case that as a QB he was running in space, getting hit by smaller DBs and subject to less gang tackling than he will be trying to punch it up in between the tackles.

Exactly.

1. He was constantly sitting out plays and full drives because of getting shaken up after hits.

2. He will be getting hit many more times and by bigger/faster/stronger defenders.
