Well, I guess he didn't keep his word.
You have to wonder if these incidents are more prevalent than we know, and that the stories were being buried or largely ignored until Ray Rice got caught on camera.

Must be, there's no way all of sudden there's a rash break out of domestic violence out of no where.

Was listening to the NFL network on Siriux/XM on my way home, and something interesting came up. They were talking to a lawyer and the discussion turned to statistics. Basically, if the NFL was a "snapshot" of society in general, there would be hundreds of players in trouble right now.
That brings up a couple of questions. Does domestic violence happen more often in the NFL that never gets reported? Is society more aware of this kind of stuff due to today's social media and 24/7 news cycle?
I'm not passing judgement on any player, but in general child and/or spouse abuse is totally unacceptable.
