Back by popular demand, this weekly thread is even better than previous versions. I realized what I have to do is get injury reports from multiple websites so hopefully the wait will not be too long next week. Let me know if you like the improved format.

Remember these terms and abbreviations throughout the season:

DNP = Did Not Practice

LIP = Limited In Practice

FP = Full Practice

O = Out

D = Doubtful

Q = Questionable

DTD = Day To Day

P = Probable

GTD = Game time decision

WP = Will Play

If you don't like all of this or have any suggestions, I will make changes next week.

Now I am ready for the part you have all been waiting for: the actual injury reporting.

JaguarsWoman - DNP

How did I do?

JAGUARS

TE Clay Harbor Calf DNP Q

WR Cecil Shorts Hamstring LIP P

WR Allen Hurns Ankle DNP P

RB Toby Gerhart Ankle DNP WP

WR Marqise Lee Hamstring LIP O

RT Austin Pasztor Hand FP P

CB Alan Ball Abdomen DNP Q

LB Paul Posluszny Knee DNP WP

RB Storm Johnson Ankle FP

SS Jonathan Cyprien Concussion FP WP

Stay tuned for the Colts. I need to look for a better website to get injury reports from.

What do all the abbreviations mean?
COLTS

CB Darius Butler Neck DNP

WR T.Y. Hilton Groin LIP

OL Khaled Holmes Ankle FP

DT Ricky Jean Francois Ankle DNP

DT Arthur Jones Ankle DNP Out

OG Joe Reitz Ankle DNP

CB Greg Toler Ribs LIP

I assume T.Y. Hilton will play because he was only out of the game a few minutes. NIR on this report means the Colts are resting good players to prevent injuries.

Me

Stubbed toe

Tweaked hammy

Weird rash NIR

D2D, DNP
NFL.com is finally catching up with the other sites, but I still can't see the injury location for each player there.

Hopefully next week it will not be so hard to get all of the information in one post.

Didn't Marquise re-tweak his hamstring today?

Hope Cecil is at least out there, the limited still is not a confidence booster.

That would be really bad if he did.

I will take  LIP over DNP any day of the week. Just be glad Cecil is practicing at all.
I really like the idea of your injury report thread! The abbreviations however are way too confusing. Just trying to help maybe (0)- out

(D)- doubtful

(Q)- questionable

(P)- probable

(SSPD)- suspended

This is how ESPN fantasy football does it and it is super easy to understand.

And of course O for Out.

Why not just S for suspended?
Not sure why not just S ? Good point. I sure like having the jags and the opponents injury's side to side. Kudos

That is why I call this the official thread: nobody else ever looks at the opponent's injury report. In fact one person disputed my claim T.Y. Hilton is "banged up." Obviously he did not even look at Indy's injury report, which has his groin on it.
thanks, JW!!

this is the first thread I looked for this morning!

No Marqise Lee on Sunday

He should keep his groin off the report... Not cool.

Yikes.  I hope they can get Shorts ready to play this week.  Anyone know if he was limited in practice today?

Quote:No Marqise Lee on Sunday

I am surprised at that report. He played the our first two games with the same injury and it is only Thursday. Did it get worse in practice?

Now we really need Cecil Shorts to come back.

No update yet on how much our guys practiced today, but they may have not had practice.
Dude, if Shorts can't play again that's crazy. Maybe TMD is right and we should try and get something for him in a trade. Dude is made of glass.
