It's really kind of sad.
The Jags have an extremely rare opportunity to play the division favorite Colts, at home, when they are 0-2 and bury them a little bit more, and they are just going to trot hopeless Henne out there and pretty much hand the game to the Colts.
UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see the headlines now.... " The Colts go to The Bank and steal a win! "

Quote:IF The Jaguars win it is by no means going to be a blowout. More like a close, "nail biter" kind of game being decided in the final seconds.
Jags haven't won a game by more than 1 possession since 2011 against the Bucs. Conversely, we have lost by more than 1 possession 22 times. The only positive spin is that since we beat the Bucs in December 2011 41-14 the Jags are:
7-8 in 1 possession games.
0-22 in games decided by more than 1 possession.
If we keep it close, we may win...
Holy crap, how depressing is that?

Colts defense isn't that fantastic. At least the line. They haven't been putting pressure on the QBs and they lack sacks this year. also, typically Henne plays in a pattern of good game bad game. Hard to consider game 1 a good game but that first half. Second game is a clear embarrassment. So, going into week 3, with all said above No Pressure on Henne and it's his week to "do good". I think our chances are greater to win this week than most give credit for.

The Wells Fargo building says : we have taken the confidence of the OP into consideration however, we regret that our policy about not allowing anyone in wearing Jag gear on Sundays will not change

Quote:I wish I could say I agree but going off the last 2 games I can only expect the Colts to embarrass us at home.
Last 2 games? You mean the last 2 years.

Any time we think some team isn't that good we usually get curb stomped.

This week's feature presentation at Everbank Field: Deliverance. The part of Ned Beatty will be played by Chad Henne.

Seriously? Everyody can upload gifs but me? I got a good one or two. smh.
Anyways, I would rather it be a close game than a blowout loss. At least still be in it come the 4th quarter, that way we may pull out a cardiac cat move.

This thread is funny. Trying to get hype already for a game that we're going to be out of before Halftime. Pass some of that stuff over.

They flyover, Jaxson de ville pregame stunts, looking at the big video screens help keep track of your fantasy players, the t-shirt guns, the grocery halftime show and punt-pass-kick competition. Football is back in Jax.
