Quote:I am beginning to wonder if Beadles is this regime's Bryce Paup.

Even more concerning is how Luke really isn't playing all that well. Between his play as a RT last year and his play as LT last year, I think we're looking like a solid LT, not a franchise one.
Quote:This guy is terrible. All day long he got beat.

Signing him was a desperation move but its turning out to be a mistake.

Maybe they should try moving him back to RG?  He's not playing as bad as Toby Gerhart has so far he's the worst Free Agency pickup....

This is what happens when you only draft a 1st round tackle and 2 interior 3rd rounders in the last 4-5 years.

If Im caldwell, Im opening up the checkbook next year in FA and commiting atleast two of their first 4 picks to Olinemen.

Dallas  invested less than that  in the late 80s and early 90s and built the most dominant OL ever.

The Saints also invested less than that.

Quote:Fun fact: PFF has Beadles as the highest-rated player on the Jaguars offense for the day with a solid +1.4. Instant reactions to TV angles may be somewhat inaccurate.

Funny how the knee jerkers avoid responding to this.

You bet! He most certainly will, I expect to see Mike Iupati in teal next year, or another linemen of the caliber.

Aint just their knees they're jerkin either
Quote:I thought Red Bryant was good enough on the defensive line to stay there.

But it would be interesting if we could move a lineman from defense to offefnse. Unfortunately now is not the time for such experiments.

You need help quickly.

I completely disagree. He's playing like a guy who just played his seventh game. Is he Joe Thomas or Boselli right now? Of course he isn't but he is playing like a guy who is on the way to establishing himself as a Franchise LT.

I expect more growing pains and I'm sure he'll get beat occasionally but he's gonna be very good. He's rapidly improving.
