same thing happening to me but i just got this mac and I'm still learning how to use it.

can the gif posters educate those of us why it's not working for us

make sure you take the actual url of the image is the only thing I can think

right click it and select copy image url (some browsers may say copy image address) sometimes just selecting "copy image" doesnt work

 

and then paste it in the img tags 

[img ]yourimagehere.gif[/ img]  (without the spaces in the tags)

this can also be done by clicking the image button in the reply toolbar
