Full Version: Texas botches coin toss?

Anyone see this?  UCLA won the coin toss and chose to defer their choice to the 2nd half.  Which means Texas gets to choose if they want to kick or to receive in the first half.  And they chose to kick.  Which meant UCLA got the ball to start both halfs.  

 

Not sure if this was intentional or if the Texas players were clueless.

I noticed that last night. I never knew they ran it like that in college.
Charlie Strong is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

I don't think it was Charlie Strong....its the captains that call the coin toss.

Even in college the refs talk to the coach and ask what they want.
