Well yeah. Defending a quarterback as bad as Henne is gonna take more than a few words.

I get that the pass could have been caught in a perfect world where Lewis times his jump right and manages to tip the ball right back into his hands...

But to anyone saying that getting a hand, or even two hands (fingertips) on the ball means you should catch it have no grasp of reality.

If Henne makes an easy three yard pass that any quarterback in the league can make this isn't even an issue.
Quote:Consider that is the poster that invented a quote from Lewis that he quit on the team.

He has a weird obsession with Lewis.

I have written that Lewis is a selfish player, not that he quit on his team.

What he must have meant is no one needs to cover him, he'll drop the ball on his own.

LOL. Ok, that's funny.

I like Marcedes, but he's not the guy you would tag with the "clutch" label.  I would have had more confidence in seeing them go to one of the rookie receivers.

I think Lewis could have made that catch but he's never been known as having great hands.  I think this particular miss goes on both players.  The pass wasn't un-catchable but Henne could have placed it closer to the numbers.
