.
It was a bad day for former jaguars overall:

Quote:LOWEST-GRADED RAVENS

Daryl Smith (-2.7): The inside linebacker struggled in coverage, which was a strong suit for him last year. According to PFF, he allowed 14.3 yards per reception, which is seventh worst amongst 3-4 inside linebackers.

Eugene Monroe (-2.4): Only six left tackles had a worse grade than Monroe in Week 1. He was flagged twice and allowed a quarterback hit.
I haven't heard anything about Joekel, so I'm assuming he had a good game Sunday?

I thought he was good.
I don't remember Joeckel getting beat at all in pass pro.
Luke Joeckel should be fine. He is good at pass protection. But I can't tell how good he is at run blocking when nobody else can do that.

Just think, Baltimore paid a Fourth Round pick, a Fifth Round pick, and then a five year, $37 million dollar contract for that.

Look at who we drafted with those two picks.

Aaron Colvin and Chris Smith. Neither one of which has been on the field in the '14 Regular Season.

Because we don't put the first initial on jerseys anymore, I thought I saw Chris Smith when Telvin was playing.

One thing I will look forward to next year is seeing Aaron Colvin play for the first time, especially if he can play strong safety.

In what world would Aaron Colvin play strong safety?

The strange mental world that's displayed in just about every post that user shares with us?

There has been talk that he could be the free safety in 2015. Strong safety is Cyp.

I think both will be contributors in time.

In fact, I think Colvin will be a huge contributor in 2015.
We'll get a chance to see Eugene Monroe tonight on Thursday Night Football

Great block on air by #72
You gotta wonder whats going through Flacco's mind in that pic.  Either he see's the dude coming or he's so locked in on a receiver he's about to get blindsided....

makes you wonder if Monroe was suppose to take away the outside on that rush since he had help on the inside
Plus Ravens signed Will Rackley after Jags let him go and he of course got hurt and ended up on IR for the season...  He got a concussion early in training camp and couldn't recover enough...   He may be done in the NFL...
