Quite a few of you are tech savy here so this is the perfect place to ask.

At the moment I don't have cable and don't want to pay to have it but I find myself in a bad situation because I can't watch prime time football.

I have read about Android TV Boxes but am still very unfamiliar.  Anyone care to fill me in?  Any suggestions?  (Seems to be quite the selection.)

I assume you mean Monday Night Football? I have a Roku box, which has an ESPN app. You have to have a log in of someone with a cable package that features ESPN to watch the game.

I assume you're referring to the WatchESPN app?
are you just talking about nfl or college or both?

As someone who recently cut the cord I can tell you that you are pretty much out of luck if you want to get rid of the cable and still watch most prime time football.  I read recently that 70% of people have cable because of sports and the cable companies know that.

You can watch via apps like the ESPN app ONLY if you already get ESPN through cable.  Its a tough decision to make.  Good luck.

Guys sorry for not being specific. Really I am looking to watch prime time both NFL and College, also being able to watch movies, TV shows, etc is not a bad thing.  The TV box that I am looking at is called the GBOX.  Seems like it does a whole lot, and then some.
