Gene would not have allowed this team to have kicking issues.  Plenty of good kickers that we passed on when we selected Linder in round 3.

You obviously did not have the sound on or watch the replays. THE SECOND ATTEMPT WAS BLOCKED. That is the offensive line's fault.

 

Also, after the first one, a commentator said he missed a lot of time during preseason because of a quadriceps injury. Therefore, you can chalk that one up as being rusty due to lack of practice.

 

I can't remember another game where Josh Scobee missed two attempts.

I haven't heard or read anything about that. The injuries I know about are Gerhart, Cyprien, Poz, and Shorts.
